Howden Maintenance Partners is a growing company specialising in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of rotating industrial machinery, both electrical and mechanical.

These include electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, generators, steam turbines, turbochargers, piston compressors and expanders. We operate at the customer's premises or in one of our sites.

We are now looking for a mechanical technician who will be responsible for mechanical assemblies in the workshop, based on technical drawings, with a focus on pumps, gearboxes, fans, blowers, small compressors, etc.

Tasks include:

Assembling, disassembling and repairing of pumps, gearboxes, fans, blowers, compressors, eg
Overhauls of mechanical equipment based work packages
Fitting, aligning, determinig clearances e.g. of mechanical equipment
Mechanical testing of equipment

Profil:

A degree of higher secondary education in a technical direction (or equivalent through experience): mechanics, electromechanics, e.g
Knowledge of rotating equipment/machines: pumps, gearboxes, compressors, e.g.
Experience in after market maintenance & revisions in an industrial environment
Service & customeroriented attitide
Reliable, strong teamplayer
Relocation to Belgium is no problem
Technical proficiency in English or French (verbally & in writing)
