You will join our Strategic Sustainability Consulting division in Belgium
You will be part of a dynamic and growing department with a high professional drive and strong collaborative spirit.

Our multidisciplinary team works primarily for the European Institutions and other public sector actors across various policy domains including Environment, Climate, Energy, Infrastructure, Buildings, Sustainable Cities, and Just transition.

Based in Brussels, we work closely with the EU institutions, and we are at the forefront of international sustainability efforts.


As a Management Consultancy within Ramboll, our projects are often characterised by bridging deep technical expertise and strategic understanding specialising in strategy and policy advice.

We work continuously with our colleagues in Ramboll Group throughout Europe and worldwide.


Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:


Tender coordination:


  • Identifying tendering opportunities in the EU and other international organizations.
  • Facilitating tender preparation processes from its identification to its successful submission
  • Understanding the administrative and technical requirements of a public procurement procedure and ensuring they are fully met.
  • Identifying and liaising with experts and partners
  • Support to budget preparation
  • Support to CV formatting and tailoring
  • Tracking and updating our list of project references
  • Monitoring and evaluating the outcomes of sales activities and tender procedures
  • Supporting with market intelligence activities

Project management support:


  • Supporting contractual management
  • Meeting preparation and minutes taking

Team and operations:


  • Supporting senior staff in their coordination activities
  • Ensuring a proper working environment for the team

For this role, we believe your starting point is:


  • You have a master's degree in business administration, project management, executive assistance, or similar, where you are/were among the top students
  • You have a solid background in business or project management; you are trained in various business functional areas of management, operations, marketing, accounting, and finance.
  • You understand public procurement rules. Knowledge of EU public procurement in particular and/or previous business development work experience will be considered an asset.
  • You have excellent planning and coordination capability, and you are good at handling many tasks at the same time
  • You are proficient in MS Office tools and have excellent formatting/visualisation skills. Other IT skills will be considered an asset
  • You are proficient in English; you can communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, with senior management, colleagues, and the public using verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in French will be considered an asset.
  • You have the right to work in Belgium

Conditions:

The opportunity we offer is an internship for a maximum duration of 1 year.

You will benefit from a professional induction program (Contrat d'Immersion Professionnelle) for young graduates and our estimated start date is 15 June /- 1 month flexibility).
