What you'll do:

Manage the technology roadmap, identify the technology building blocks for future New Product Development projects, to gain market share and outperform our competitors.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define the technology roadmap, with a team of engineers and scientists by providing technical guidance and mentorship
Evaluate new technologies and trends in the bioprocessing industry and identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation
Support technology and new product development project teams in developing IP protected products and be a contact person for the legal team
Promote a culture of creativity, collaboration and experimentation within the organization, by leading and facilitating innovation workshops with diverse teams

Who you are:

Master in engineering science in Bioprocessing, Electromechanical or Chemistry
Longstanding experience in R&D, preferably as an R&D Engineer or scientist
Very experienced and knowledgeable of all technologies applied in bioprocessing, especially within our direct customer portfolio
Have a strong background in engineering, preferably with experience in innovation and patenting
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders on IPrelated matters, therefore fluency in written and spoken English

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

the pharmaceutical industry

- process, equipment and components used in the Biotech
