    Location:

    Activity mainly within the appropriate region, Belgium or Netherlands.

    Will be expected to travel regularly within the Region and, on occasion, outside the Region to help co-ordinate activity at European Level

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate and promote safety leadership in all aspects of the Company's business
    • Upholds company policies and procedures, legislative requirements and acts as a role model for the Company's values and behaviours.
    • Develop and own maintenance plans and KPIs within the Region to policies and practices which are established at European Level (through the CoE);
    • Assist, at European level, in the development of maintenance best practice and policies, by attending the Maintenance Community of practices
    • From time to time, support the implementation of maintenance in other Regions
    • Ensure that maintenance performance is monitored and realised at site level. Ensure appropriate budgeting is reported to the Territory Manager as well as Regional Technical Leader;
    • Responsible for the improvement of margin on particular contracts within the Region;
    • In line with the Regional Technical Leader's plan, ensure appropriate, optimum maintenance practices, systems and resources are in place for the full life cycle of all existing and prospective services within the region;
    • Work closely with key staff within the region (e.g. but not limited to Asset Care specialists, Sales, Operations Performance Managers etc) to deliver successful maintenance audits, proposals and projects;
    • Report, on a regular basis, on the progress of maintenance targets to the Regional Technical Leader;
    • Ensure maintenance plans are in place which make full use of the WTS Toolset and support local teams where necessary;
    • Where appropriate for the contract, investigate recurring equipment failure;
    • Manage and optimise stock and spare parts;
    • Ensure the appropriate implementation of the WTS Toolset for all service delivery activity;
    • Assist, where necessary, to ensure successful service start-ups

    Qualifications required to do this role:

    • Degree and post-graduate qualification in relevant Engineering and/or Maintenance Management

    Experience required to do this role:

    • Advanced knowledge of maintenance strategies and CMMS
    • Understanding of engineering projects
    • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment
    • Understanding of the Regional Services in place
    • Understanding of the WTS Toolset
    • Understanding of the WTS Service Portfolio
    • At least 3+ years in the water industry
    • Proven track record of delivering complex multi-disciplinary service projects
    • Computer literacy
    • Appreciation of service delivery commercial risks

    • English/French spoken, Dutch will be appreciated
