    In order to support its growth, the company is actively seeking a Structure Design Manager - Aeronautics (M/F).

    Responsibilities

    Ready to drive innovation and lead a dynamic design team? Join as a Structure Design Manager. Your main responsibilities are :

    • Collaborating with the Head of Design Department to ensure exceptional service performance and drive strategic initiatives.
    • Spearheading the development of cutting-edge design concepts and procedures in collaboration with project managers.
    • Implementing efficient processes and innovative tools to streamline project execution and deliver outstanding results.
    • Providing mentorship and technical expertise to inspire and empower design teams to achieve their full potential.
    • Leading the development of innovative technical solutions that seamlessly integrate economic and industrial constraints, while proactively addressing challenges with the support of design leaders.
    • Strategically planning and optimizing both internal and external resources to meet project demands and maximize efficiency.
    • Ensuring the highest quality of technical documentation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
    • Driving employee development, recruitment, and training initiatives to cultivate a high-performing and motivated team.
    • Validating design quotes, implementing cost-effective subcontracting strategies, and representing the department to stakeholders to build strong partnerships and drive innovation.

    Profile

    • Master in mechanical, electromechanical, or aerospace engineering.
    • Min 8 years of aeronautical structure design experience.
    • Experience in people management.
    • Leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
    • Advanced knowledge in aeronautical structure development, including design, and materials manufacturing processes.
    • Fluent in French and English, with strong interpersonal abilities.
    • Proactive and versatile with strong analytical and synthesis skills for project needs.
    • Proficiency in aerospace CAD & PLM tools (such as CATIA V5, NX, Windchill, & TeamCenter), alongside a strong command of MS Office tools including MS Project.
