Role and Responsibilities

Experience with logistics in a technical environment;
Ability to speak, read and write in English language, Flemish is required;
General knowledge of aviation terminology;

Personality profile and skills

Representative appearance and behavior;
Interested in modern technology;
A feel for detail and accuracy;
Good inter human behavior skills;
Both selfstarter and team player.

Logistic Tasks, responsibilities and authorizations:

Team task for controls all company stock, stock administration and Simulator part repair processes;
Stays in touch with suppliers, transport companies and customs authorities; deputy contact person for facility items;
Place orders and checks deliveries; control and administration of Purchase order system CAE;
Checks pricing agreements with suppliers;
Deputy contact person and controls technical and nontechnical maintenance and cleaning of building and equipment (photo copiers, coffee machines, heavy tools, fire alarm and fighting equipment [fixed and portable];
Place tenders for internally approved orders for CAE and subsidiary companies at the designated location;
Communicates with external parties as applicable to the job.
Takes care of the Warehouse, including order and cleanliness, stock management and semiannual inventory checks.
Executes small building repairs and maintenance tasks
Takes care of transportation of cargo

Special tasks and remarks:

Performs additional tasks, if requested by the Manager Technical Services and these tasks can reasonably be executed, taking into account the job and experience;
Willingness to grow via learning, courses etc.
