Job summary
We are looking for an experienced individual to join us as Indirect Tax Officer in our Group Tax Department.In this role you will play a key role within Elia's Group Tax Department, collaborating closely with colleagues and external advisors. You will report into the Group Tax Department which is led by the Group Tax Manager and forms part of the wider Accounting & Tax function. Based in Brussels you will provide strategic input and guidance to local teams across the group.
Your main tasks include coordinating and overseeing the accurate and timely completion of indirect tax operational procedures (VAT and periodical support on CBAM customs and tariffs) in close collaboration with other tax team members and external tax advisors. You ensure compliance with indirect tax regulations and support daily tax reporting for all internal clients.
