ROLE OVERVIEW:


We are searching for a Sales Manager (Account Manager) to be responsible for selling products and services to existing and prospective customers within Belgium.

Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will sell our steel drums, plastic drums and Intermediate bulk containers, sometimes in collaboration with our Global Key Account team to ensure existing business is maintained and, importantly, new business is identified.


This is an exciting position that will suit a customer centric, commercial person who is enthusiastic, motivated and keen for role ownership.

We can offer remote and/or hybrid working as this position will require travel to our Lier and Gent factories as well as customer sites.

Key Responsibilities- Communicates with existing customers and manages accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.

Maintains existing business by developing and presenting value propositions to existing customers.- identifies leads and undertakes new business enquiries to prospective customers that will produce revenue growt opportunities.- Partners with colleagues in functional areas including, but not limited to: Production, Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics in order to provide the best customer service possible.- Interacts with and assists sales managers and/or directors to achieve sales goals.- Creates detailed price quotes.- Creates and delivers presentations to internal and external customers, along with samples and prototypes.- Completes and updates sales-related paperwork and reporting systems.- Maintains relationships with plants that service customers in the assigned territory, product area, or accounts.


Education and Experience- Typically possesses a Bachelor's degree- Can demonstrate successful sales experience; industrial sales experience a plus.- Can demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Have confidence to perform cold customer calls and follow up on leads.- Fluent in English and Dutch is essential.

French would be a plus.
