RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do Day to Day

  • Compile account information and prepare monthly journal entries.
  • Prepare and maintain monthly account reconciliations.
  • Work with global colleagues on intercompany revenue and expense. Recording of transactions impacting the BS and PL. Completion of global reconciliation.
  • Analyze and explain monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations and variances.
  • Assist with compiling yearend external audit and internal audit requests.
  • Assist with the preparation of VAT returns, corporation tax returns, and yearend statutory accounts.
  • Assist the Accounting Manager and Finance Director with any ad hoc research, cleanup, and reporting projects.
  • Work with various departments to streamline data flow and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must Haves

  • BA/BS in accounting
  • At least four (5) years of accounting experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and timemanagement skills.
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros).
  • Excellent resolution and followup skills.
  • Innovative and creative for collaborating on projects and process improvements.
  • Strong IT/systems ability and adaptability to ERP systems.
  • Ambitious and diligent with a commitment to improvement and a high standard of work.
  • Good knowledge of French, English, and Dutch.
  • CPA
  • Public Accounting Experience
  • Experience with Oracle Financials or similar ERP systems preferred.
  • Hubble/Insight Financial Reporting
  • Experience with foreign entities (EMEA)
