freelance 'Business Process Analyst' for our client,
one of the largest energy producing companies on the Belgian Market (Regio Brussels en/of Hasselt).

Mission
As '
Business Process & Improvement Analyst' you are an
important actor of the transformation of our
Retail Business.

You will play a key role in the changes by translating the Retail vision of Transformation into value driven and structured solutions.

_You will realize the changes_.

Key responsibilities of the 'Business Process Analyst':

_You collect the vision_ of a retail ambition or problem statement into a clear and structured list of Business Requirements. This will be the strong foundation of a successful project (with or without IT development).

This means:

You formulate the
requirements in business case with measurable benefits
You highlight the
main drivers of success by collecting the voice of the business sponsors & main stakeholders, of the end user and of the customers.
You offer an
understandable view of the process in scope. You design and document with visuals.

_You inspire for changes_ by providing action oriented recommendations. Your conclusions are strong and factual. They are funded on data, indicators, interviews, workshops, surveys, models and metrics. They are documented in precise and simple language.

_You realize the changes_ in an agile way. You are the reference for the business requirements and you organize the activities to collect the requirements, prioritize, define the acceptance criteria and respond to the changes (new requirements, new constraints, impediments.). You can initiate a lean project that you will lead and take leads and ownership roles for some deliverables of the project.

_You connect the project and the business_. You inform clearly the sponsors about the value delivered and how it progresses in time. You explain the project risks and opportunities and your recommendation. You can use storytelling to share with the end users what the changes mean for them. You encourage feedback and you are not afraid to challenge others.

_You are a business expert__ _and the voice of the business in IT projects: You facilitate the communication between the business and IT by organizing workshops and reviews. You are strongly involved in all phases of the development.

At every step, from requirement to testing, you ensure the business objectives are realized:
you provide impact analysis, requirements; you validate the tests and support the testers.

_You are a proactive challenger _: you follow the indicators, you see waste in the process, you anticipate changes and search for process improvement opportunities. You think "improvement"

Functie-eisen:

This is how we see our 'Business Process Analyst':

You have
experience in
Agile/Scrum team and
1-2 years expertise in 'Business Analysis' practices preferably in an
Agile delivery environment.

Strong affinity and understanding of
energy sector (more specifically the
Retail (Energy Supplier) processes.
-
Experience with (1)
Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce, SAP (ISU) and (2)
Energy Market Exchange processes (MIG6).

Fluent in
English and a
good knowledge of
Dutch and
French.

You have
proactive,
communication and
multitasking skills and you understand the business strategy.
You are
selforganized,
result driven and
eager to learn.
You are a
teamplayer and are
able to share your knowledge.
You work from
Brussels or Hasselt (2 days a week)
