ICT Functional Analyst IT Security- Computer and IT - Leuven | Just now- Are you a graduate or a functional analyse that is passionate about information and IT security? Become our ICT Functional Analyst IT Security.- What you will doAs a Junior Functional Analyst with a focus on IT security, you will be responsible for assisting in the analysis, design, and implementation of security solutions within our organization.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify security risks, define requirements, and develop strategies to enhance the overall security posture.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in IT security analysis while contributing to the protection of sensitive information and systems.

Initially you will be involved in two large initiatives:

  • The implementation of a new Identity, Governance & Administration (IGA) tool for imec.

For this initiative you will:

  • Capture and translate requirements from imec business and ICT stakeholders into designs and functional solutions which will be integrated in the overall IGA roadmap / programs. You will investigate existing solutions and business processes and make proposals for improvements.
  • Further, you will play an important role in the test cycles, the validation of the development work, the technical architecture and the internal and external coordination and communication.
  • You will also be involved in the support and maintenance of the environment.
  • You will work in an experienced team, building knowledge over the different functional area, but with a focus on our identity & access management related solutions
  • For this longterm position, you will be given ample time to build up knowledge about the semiconductor and research ecosystem and the existing and future system landscape.
  • Drive improvement changes in the IGA environment.
Assisting various ICT stakeholders in improving the maturity of their policies & processes.


For this initiative you will:

  • Collaborate with functional analysts, security teams, and stakeholders to understand security requirements and identify potential risks.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of IT security solutions and controls to address identified risks.
  • Participate in the development of IT security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of IT security technologies, tools, and vendors.
  • Perform IT security testing to validate the effectiveness of implemented controls.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest security threats, trends, and technologies.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations to communicate IT security findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other teams to raise security awareness with other IT teams on the principles of security by design

Who you are

  • You obtained at least a bachelor's degree in ICT or a master's degree in (industrial) engineering, TEW or commercial engineering.
  • You show a passion for software development/configuration and an eagerness to learn.
  • You have experience in process designs and process thinking.
  • You feel comfortable in a complex and demanding environment.
  • You have no problem to follow the ICT governance processes and templates.
  • You are a communication superstar who enjoys collaborating with internal ICTcolleagues as well as with external development resources.
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch is a definite plus.
