This position is part of KION Group - Mobile Automation and is in our Antwerp, Belgium European headquarters.

KION Mobile Automation (KMA) is the world-leading, fast-growing, innovative frontrunner in the development of mobile robotics, robotic fleet controllers, and cloud-based fleet logistics management systems.

KMA has a focus on Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems. AGVs are autonomous robots that move and transport items in production, warehouse, and distribution centers.


As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will be a key member of the leadership team and will drive strategic people initiatives.

As a highly motivated and passionate business partner, you will be an employee champion and change agent, collaborating with and coordinating a network of HR professionals globally.


Tasks and Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving the career development, talent and succession management across the region to ensure that we find great career development opportunities for our people as we grow and align our greatest talents to our most challenging roles.
  • Coaching and supporting leaders across the region to realize the full potential of their team members, including leadership development training.
  • Supporting the leadership team in driving improvements in the way we develop and implement innovative solutions, advising on effective change management approaches to accelerate adoption.
  • Defining engagement and communication plans, working in partnership with global HR colleagues and communication teams.
  • Partnering with leaders and talent acquisition to ensure we effectively recruit to achieve our growth ambitions.
  • Ensuring effective and valueadding onboarding processes to allow new starters to contribute as quickly as possible.

Tasks and Qualifications:


Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience, ideally with experience of working with populations of technical professionals (engineering, R&D, IT etc.).
  • Experience of working across multiple sites/populations, preferably with international exposure. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Belgium employment law and employment practices required.
  • Highly collaborative with strong consultative, analytical, time management, and project management skills.
  • The ability to influence, resolve complex problems, and identify systemic issues.
  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately up to 25% across the region, with potential for limited intercontinental travel.
