Description du poste

Provide constructive guidance to DC (Distribution Center) management team and departments for all controlling aspects to increase the overall result of the DC and to achieve the goals.

  • Manage and ensure an efficient logistics operation, high quality customer service, good product care and sales activities through commercial focus and in order to maximize sales. (check blueprint)
  • Identify business opportunities and areas of improvement for DC performances by continuously controlling the overall DC results, performing relevant analyses and reports as well as define action plan and implement strategies together with the DC management team to increase efficiency and securing that quality, delivery, accuracy, and profit targets are reached.
  • Involve and manage the local controlling team in all DC related topics.
  • Define framework and report structure to follow up business results on daily/weekly/monthly base, incl DC KPI status report and initiate actions to increase profit, balancing long and shortterm planning.
  • Accountable for all financial and operational data related to DC controlling. Provide to departments and management team all financial and operational data, reports and analyses related to DC controlling, incl. set up and follow up on agreed budget, projects, KPIs (e.g. cost, service, sustainability) in terms of efficiency and productivity.
  • Support and drive contract negotiation in collaboration with logistics local and regional management team: oversee and initiate tendering of contracts with external vendors with appropriate frequency and in compliance with global guidelines.
  • Actively reduce our overall environmental impact and secure that our logistic chain has a lower Co2 emission than industry average in the market.
  • Ensure compliance in all legal requirements, administrative procedures, and H&M policies

Qualifications:


To be successful in the role we believe you have:

  • A degree in economics or other relevant degree, comparable work experience
  • Work experience of 3+ years in Logistics/Controlling/Audit
  • Experience using different Business Intelligence systems is meritorious
  • The ability to understand, analyze and handle large amounts of data
  • A proactive mindset with strong planning and prioritization skills
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office (advanced skills in Excel)
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, fluent written and spoken
    French and
    English
