Global Tax Data Manager


You will take charge of designing and implementing ABI tax data management systems, tailoring custom data solutions for various tax processes.


You'll be responsible for managing the income tax reporting and planning cycles globally, encompassing cash tax and Effective Tax Rate ("ETR").

Additionally, you'll lead the establishment of the Tax Control Tower in India to facilitate the execution of these tasks.

Main accountabilities:

  • Develop comprehensive tax forecasts and models to guide strategic decisionmaking
  • Prepare tax budgets and longerterm financial plans and measuring global performance vs the plan monthly
  • Analyze current and past financial data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • Lead variance analysis of budget, forecast, and actuals and prepare comprehensive deep dives explaining the causes of these variances
  • Presentation of financial insights to management, suggesting actions based on these insights to optimize financial performance
  • Coordinate information from all the zones and Global Headquarters, interact with Director of Operations, Vice President of Tax and also external and internal stakeholders on the topics under his/her responsibility
  • Coordinate the implementation of Pillar 2 & CBCR data collection and reporting

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, finance, business or related field with at least 5 years of work experience
  • Strong project management skills and a very structured approach to problemsolving
  • Good understanding of IFRS
  • Strong use of technology (excel, Anaplan, power BI, and similar tools), to create forecasting models, analyze data, compare results yoy, review financials and project results base on certain criteria, review reports and understand gaps/variances
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, to allow close and direct contact with different teams in Global and in the zones (Control and Tax) and in the BSC/Control Tower.
  • Having worked with corporate income tax in the past is a plus but not mandatory.
