Our client is the leading Energy supplier in Belgium & has developed next to that a portfolio of energy services.

For this job opening we are looking for somebody to join the "Java Chapter" in the "Enabling Tribe" to join one of the Squads where Java & JavaScript is used to develop the its products.

The Java Chapter helps out several squads in continuously developing their IT solutions to support their customers with efficient digital solutions.

Within Marketing & Sales the Java Chapter supports the different squads with their products which are related to

API's
Exposed Microservices written in Java running in Kubernetes

API Management

Kong
Identity & Access Management
RedHatSSO (Keycloak)

Integration

Kafka, Third Party Software & Partner integrations

Engie Website

Magolia CMS & Vue.

JS Applications

As a member of one of the squads you analyze, develop and maintain functionalities (API's, JavaScript Applications, CMS components) based on the needs of our customers (internal and external)

Profil recherché:

Qualifications:

Competency Proven Experience

Java (with knowledge of versions 11 & 17) 5 years

Java EE (essentially Servlet/JSP) is a plus 5 years

Spring / Spring Boot 5 years

Spring MVC 5 years

Design and implementation of REST APIs 5 years

JAX-WS and JAX-RS 3 years

XML Processing 3 years

SOA principles (REST, SOAP) 3 years

JavaScript / Typescript 3 years

Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes,) 2 year

2 or experience with similar framework is a plus

Responsive HTML/CSS development is a plus
