renewable energy sector.

As
International Accountant you will be
responsible for:
As an International Accountant you will support the Accounting & Tax team and will perform, among others, the following tasks:

You are responsible for the A-Z accounting of one or multiple group entities;
You perform the monthly and yearend closing according to the group procedures;
You prepare the monthly VAT return and assist with other legal obligations;
You are coresponsible for the statutory accounts and assist in the preparation of the annual accounts and corporate tax returns;
You provide support in the preparation of the monthly reporting and participate in the processing of the necessary monthly analyses;
You assist with internal and external audits;
You are involved in ad hoc projects and analyses (e.g. incorporation and setup accounting of new foreign companies);
You work closely with the controllers to follow up on the analytical accounting;
You will report to the Accounting & Tax Manager.

As a Consolidation Accountant you will be responsible for the consolidation of the group accounts:

Conversion of local GAAP financial statements into IFRS;
Preparation of the company's consolidated financial statements under IFRS;
Monthly reporting of IFRS balances;
Reporting of consolidated figures in SAP BPC to the mother company;
Preparation of reports for management and board of directors.

The required
profile for the
International Accountant position:

You have at least a Bachelor Accountancy-Taxation.
You have at least 7 years of relevant experience as an accountant and have knowledge of statutory and analytical accounting;
You have a good knowledge of IFRS;
You have at least a first experience within consolidation;
You are flexible and able to work in a challenging and changing environment;
You are eager to learn and have a handson mentality;
You work in a processoriented way and you respect different deadlines;
You have extensive experience with Excel and also with bookkeeping in an ERP system;
You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of English (oral and written);
You have a proactive attitude and are a good communicator.
