Job description:

To reinforce our team of consultants in Brussels, we are currently looking for a

'Supply Chain Manager Automotive'.

Your main responsibilities will be:

_First part of the project_

Mapping the actual Inbound core processes to identify the nonadded value tasks/activities and implement processes and cost optimization proposals in a short term
Elaboration of Business cases, their development and implementation during the lifetime of the project
Analyse, develop and implement new packaging ideas to be able to save costs in transportation logistics budgets
Analyse, develop and implement digitalization projects to make more transparent and optimize the inbound transport, material follow up in transits and its influence on the warehouse and line feeding processes
Analyse volumes from other plants to create transportation synergies and reduce transportation costs. Develop business cases and implement project proposals
Develop and implement a methodology, process and tool to visualise all inbound logistics costs, identify also deviations and forecast
Propose and implement new and innovative and best in class transportation practices and modes and optimizations of logistics processes for the top volume suppliers
Analyse, develop, and implement a project to reduce penalty costs for trucks with longer stay at plant such as Saturation for trucking and Goods receipts

- areas. Optimise actual trailers yard and trucks discharging process and flows

Review and benchmark actual Inbound KPI with best practices and deploy new KPI standards reducing data complexity aligning to the core business
Assure the training of the team employees to use the implemented new tools, methods, and processes on a regular basis

_Second part of the Project:
_

Mapping, analysing working methods and schedules considering the changes in production, logistics and quality due to a new model introduction
Defining and implementing all necessary organizational, processual, and technical measures
Mapping the actual Inbound processes and identify synergies in transport between all models produced in the factory. Elaboration of Business cases / Projects, their development and implementation
Analyse, develop and implement digitalization ideas and projects
Analyse volumes, areas and resources needed for the new model production. Develop business cases and project implementation of the proposals approved by the Team.
Analyse the current situation and propose new distribution of logistic resources based on the needs of the new production models
Propose new Inbound logistics routes that could combine the supply of all the material needed for both models and analyse the possibility of automation due to the new volumes of car production
Project management support for overall activities within rampup

Have you got what it takes?:

You have a bachelor or master degree
You have, with preference, minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Projects, in optimization inbound projects and in the planification of car launch Projects in VW Group Factories
You have knowledge of Automotive Supply Chain Processes (Inbound, Inhouse, Outbound)
You have knowledge of Agile Methodology applied to Logistic Projects
You have a proven experience in digitalization and/or business analytics in the Automotive Industry
You have a proven experience in Supply Chain Projects outside VW Group in the Automobile Sector
You have knowledge of DataAnalysis Tools, Qlikview, Power Platform, SAP Business, Logis and LKW Control
You are a fluent communicator in English
