Janssen Research and Development, LLC is recruiting for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) within the Clinical Supply Product Group, located in Beerse (Belgium)

Our clinical supply business unit within R&D is responsible for packaging and labeling of medicines in support of all pharma clinical trials.

The operation is business critical being as its deliver medication to patients in clinical studies. It is our mission to deliver 'Hope in a box' to patients worldwide.

Clinical Supply Unit within J&J Innovative medicine organization is a pioneer in area of technology and automation advancement and recognized as industry trend setter.


Our broader Clinical supply product group team has the technology responsibility of end-to-end planning of clinical supply, all R&D Manufacturing facilities across several locations and delivery of clinical medication worldwide.

To strengthen this team and to support the business-critical Clinical Supply function we are looking for a TPM, who will have the responsibility of all Packaging and Technology systems.


The TPM will drive the vision and roadmap of the product, translate business needs into solutions and be accountable for value delivery at squad level.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and shape multiyear capability, technology and investment Roadmap.
  • Lead medium to large scale investment in a global context and work with cross functional team to ensure delivery of business objective and key results.
  • Lead squad of technical architect, technical operation owner, Technology quality, business Analysts, development and validation team.
  • Partner with broader Supply Chain organization and across different business and technology functions.
  • Own vision and prioritization of features and product enhancements.
  • Acts as a key resource for multiple larger projects/programs and serves as a consultant/core team member with multifunctional team members.
  • Ensure system support and governance in partnership with technical operation owner, internal technology service organization and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze business problems, opportunities, and challenges, factoring in a deep understanding of the technical architecture and the underlying drivers of the business.
  • Designs technical solutions, including system integrations, in partnership with other subfunctions in IT.
  • Contributes to the documentation and visual representation of the endtoend view of process, systems, and data flows.
  • Proposes improvements to IT systems/services and business processes enabled through technology.
  • Leads business requirements, process design sessions, and assessments of the technical and economic feasibility of proposed solutions and provides appropriate recommendations based on industry trends, internal benchmarking, and vendor relationships ensuring alignment with IT strategies and technology roadmaps.

Education:


  • A minimum education of a Bachelor level degree (in Information Technology, engineering) or comparable by experience.
  • PMI or equivalent certification is an asset.

Experience and Skills:


Required:


  • Strong Experience in shaping and owning product technology roadmap.
  • Proven Project Management and stakeholder management skills are required.
  • Experience in managing development projects.
  • Experience working in regulated environment.
  • Strong mindset to ensure business objective and results realization.
  • Experience in managing business critical operation to ensure business continuity.
  • Excellent communication and interdependent partnering skills in a global setting is required.

Preferred:


  • Knowledge and experience working in support of manufacturing space is plus.
  • Exposure to Clinical Supply Chain (packaging and labeling) processes is plus.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System, shopfloor system, Automation system and ERP SAP system is plus.
  • Strong interest in digitalization, Industry 4.0, data science.
  • Experience with working in global setup and with cross functional/technical team, leveraging broader enterprise product and several product line capabilities is plus.

Other:


  • Proficiency in English required, good understanding of Dutch is a plus.
  • Limited (<10%) travel
