    Description

    We currently have a vacancy for a Business Intelligence Expert fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site

    Your tasks

  • Creation and maintenance of Enterprise Data Warehouses (EDW) and complex Business Intelligence Solutions (Data Lakes / Data Lakehouses);
  • Designing architectures both on the cloud and on premises (whether hosting or cloud on-premises) or combination of both (hybrid);
  • Gathering business requirements, designing ETL processes, performing data virtualization and data modelling;
  • Design and development of reporting applications and physical DB design;
  • Database performance analysis;
  • Design of Data Quality and Health Monitoring processes.

    • Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Minimum 2 years' of expertise in Qlik Sense;
  • Minimum 2 years' of expertise in dashboard UI/UX design;
  • Minimum 2 years' of expertise in SQL;
  • Excellent knowledge of data warehouse design & Architecture;
  • Good knowledge of data lake/data lakehouse design and architecture;
  • Excellent knowledge of relational database systems applied to data warehouse;
  • Knowledge of non-relational database technologies;
  • Excellent knowledge of business intelligence reporting tools;
  • Excellent knowledge of ETL tools as well as modelling tools;
  • Excellent knowledge of online analytical data processing (OLAP) and data mining tools;
  • Knowledge of near real time data warehousing and/or change data capture technologies;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
