Freelance DevOps for Migration Project

Location:
Brussels, Belgium (Remote/Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months, renewable

Company Overview:
Our client is a major player in the insurance industry, specializing in providing innovative solutions for its clients.

As part of a migration project to the Azure cloud environment, we are seeking an experienced Freelance DevOps professional to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with development teams to automate deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure availability, performance, and security of cloud systems
Participate in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructure, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth system operations
Document processes and configurations to facilitate maintenance and support

Requirements:

At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps professional, ideally in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP)
Proficiency in both French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
Practical experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc
Solid understanding of automation principles and DevOps best practices
Experience using Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration tasks
Mastery of Docker for container creation, management, and deployment
Experience in implementing and managing largescale cloud infrastructures
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Resultsoriented with the ability to meet deadlines

Working Conditions:

Freelance contract with an initial duration of 6 months, with the possibility of renewal
