JOB TITLE:
Master Planner Engineering.

PROJECT:
The company is preparing to build multiple battery materials production plants across the globe.
These cutting-edge facilities will be a critical part of the electric vehicle (EV) supply chain.

In support of these greenfield expansions, the company is looking for a Master Planner with experience in industrial engineering projects to support the team in Brussels.

In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and integration of the planning of projects, from early feasibility assessments to start of production, i.e.

design, construction and handover of manufacturing facilities and related structures.

PRIMARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the multidiscipline teams, the Master Planner is responsible to interface & integrate the different site project's timelines in direct coordination with engineering program/project managers, ePCM partners and technical functional/domain leaders giving clear visibility of the project status and alerting on time to deviations to the program/project baselines.
Support the procurement process within the project/programs (Procurement plan, PO's, reminders, material receptions) and support the cost controlling of the projects under the global program.
Actively contribute to the expansion projects that will deploy the capacity for RBM business unit growth and, ultimately, for the growth of the company as foreseen in their Vision 2030 plan. Lead changes (via Agile Sprints) for further optimization of PPM (Project Portfolio Management i.e. Planisware) be coordinating development with AzureDevOps to ensure Planning portfolio is digitized and complete.

SECONDARY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting up and manage a cost controlling process with project managers and program director, cross checking actuals against approved budget.
Propose improvements (procedures, organizational, new technologies, capex, productivity) as appropriate. Capture user feedback and lessons learned for future projects.

PROFILE:
years Project Manager or PMO experience, ideally with 5 years experience in Automotive (APQP) or Material/Mining Industry.

Exceptional proficiency in the use of project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Planisware Version 7 is a must.
Thorough understanding of industrial project trades and the interactions between all trades (project management, construction management, civil/building/facilities, electrical, piping, process, equipment and startup activities).
Cost controlling experience within a project scope.
Familiar with practical requirements of environmental, health and safety issues.
Very good interpersonal and clear oral, written and presentation skills.
Excellent analytical capabilities and problemsolving skills.
Independent thinking, outcome focused, stress resilience.
Establishes good relationships with the leadership team and staff.
Innovative spirit, which searches for continuous improvements.
Intercultural awareness, understanding of different business practices in the relevant cultures.
Experience working in an internationally operating company.
Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related applied science.
Desired Project or Portfolio Management certification (PMI or Prince2).
Language proficiencies: English (fluent); Any other language is a plus.
