Do you want to play an important role in transforming how used cars are traded in the future?

We are looking for a service minded and organized team-player to join us in this newly created position as Guarantee Price
- and Auction Specialist.

We are an emerging European leader in digital dealer-to-dealer trading, with more than 120,000 cars on auction in 2021.

AUTOproff was established in 2013 to digitize B2B vehicle trading, helping car dealers grow sales and improve profits from used car trading.

About the role

As our new Guarantee Price
- and Auction Specialist at AUTOproff, you'll have a broad role with great development opportunities.

You will help establishing this function in Belgium in close collaboration with the Guarantee Price
- and Auction colleagues in Denmark and Germany. You will also support and help our customers with our auction platform.

You will report to the Danish Guarantee
- and Auction Manager with dotted line to the Country Manager for AUTOproff Belgium, and be instrumental for providing excellent customer experience by delivering an outstanding customer service
- and support.

Let's dive into your key responsibilities

First point of contact for our customers, and handling customer inquiries
Assessment and evaluations of vehicles and submit guarantee prices via our digital platform
Management and followup on our online auctions
Follow the developments on the European automotive market together with the auction team and derive appropriate measures
General support of our auction platform and independent auction preparation
Observe the automobile market and derive measures for pricing
Monitor inventory and sell vehicles from inventory
Processing of complaints in coordination with various departments
Review and manage individual claims cases
Negotiate and mediate between our customers in claims cases
Make decisions on highly technical claims cases
Close contact with our field service team and support colleagues in customer acquisition

The need-to-have skills

Knowledge of the used car market
Experience in purchasing vehicles and pricing used vehicles
Used to working with IT and digital tools, and has a great ability to quickly get acquainted with new systems
Structured with strong coordination skills
Excellent communication skills, and fluent in Flemish and French

The nice-to-have skills

Knowledge of vehicles in the premium segment
Knowledge of using price determination tools
Basic understanding of B2B marketing
Mastered the English language
