Position Overview
Oversee financial operations of hotel and manage hotel assets
Prepare annual budget, and monthly and weekly forecasts
Audit and oversee accuracy of all guest billing
Maintain relations with external parties and take care of requests and enquiries from owner representatives, corporate office, suppliers and colleagues
Review key controls and establish control procedures to achieve the effectiveness of control and compliance with the Group's policies and procedures, government regulations and contractual agreements
Manage day-to-day activities and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict, improve team member performance, and recognise good performance
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting, Finance and a minimum of five years in hotel accounting or audit with at least two years as Assistant Controller or similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Must speak fluent Cantonese and English
Strong analytical, problem solving and organisational skills
Ability to communicate with other department heads and senior management
Good knowledge of SunSystems and hotel systems such as Opera, Infrasys POS, SCM, etc
