Cybersecurity Awareness Consultant

Duration:7 months

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team in Brussels as a Cybersecurity Awareness Consultant.

This role is part of a significant initiative within our organisation, focused on enhancing cybersecurity culture and mitigating human factor-related threats.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Awareness Program Coordinator, you will:

Draft notes and communications on the secure usage of ICT systems for various end-users.
Coordinate the preparation and execution of phishing simulations across the organisation.
Prepare reports and presentations on the activities of the awareness program.
Update human factor risk assessments to identify future areas of focus.
Develop demos and visuals to raise cybersecurity awareness.
Collaborate with Communication and Training Departments on materials creation.
Conduct cybersecurity awareness lectures, demos, webinars, and workshops.
Moderate online communities and collaborative spaces.
Contribute to building capabilities for measuring the reach and effectiveness of the awareness program.

Qualifications:

At least one ICT Security professional certification.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Computer Science is required.
Experience in running cybersecurity awareness activities and defining strategic plans.
Proficiency in preparing and executing phishing simulations using commercial or opensource tools.
Knowledge and experience in identifying and evaluating cybersecurity risks associated with the human factor.
Proven communication skills and the ability to coordinate with diverse teams.

Ideal Qualifications:

Leadership skills to oversee the execution of the annual cybersecurity awareness plan.
Experience in coordinating stakeholders for effective implementation.
Content creation abilities for drafting communications, reports, and guidance.
Experience in producing documents and writing publications.
Capability to lead cybersecurity awareness lectures, demos, webinars, and workshops.
Familiarity with building capabilities to measure the reach and effectiveness of awareness programs.
French language is an asset.
