Admissions Coordinator


The International School of Brussels (ISB) is a dynamic, inclusive learning organization committed to developing independent learners and international citizens.

Introduction to the position


Advancement at ISB incorporates a number of connected school functions that support the school in the achievement of its mission.

Working in collaboration with other members of the Advancement Team and other ISB community members, the Admissions Coordinator works alongside the Admissions Team by helping create a coherent, meaningful, and engaging experience for prospective and new families.

Key accountabilities

The Admissions Coordinator is accountable for the following:

  • Communicating the story of ISB to prospective families in the process of choosing the right school for their child.
  • Being an advocate for prospective and new families, while prioritizing the best interests of the school and community.
  • Supporting other Advancementrelated projects outside of the Admissions role as required.
  • Working on projects to create a positive experience for prospective and new families and ISB community members.
  • Serving as an advocate of the school and its mission and values to the broader community.

  • To develop an understanding of Admissions in an international school environment.

  • An ability to represent the school to a range of stakeholders in support of the school's brand and reputation.
  • An ability to engage in a positive and meaningful way with a variety of ISB stakeholders.
  • A capacity to acquire a wide range of information about the school while continually staying informed of changes and developments.
  • Being able to work well under pressure, including being target
- and results-driven.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in other languages, in particular French and/or Dutch is an advantage.
