Context:


Within Degroof Petercam we organise events almost on a daily basis, both for internal employees as for clients and prospects.

To Make sure those events embody the Degroof Petercam values and spirit we have a team of 4 enthusiastic and creative event coordinators who are managed by a dynamic Head of Events.

To complete the team there's a communication expert and an intern, both also supervised by the same Manager.

To maintain the same quality of events we are looking for an additional event coordinator, mainly with a focus on events in Flanders and for Dutch speaking clients and prospects.


Your Position:

What do we expect from you as our Event Coordinator?

  • You are in charge of organizing "all bank" events for clients / prospects / colleagues within the event team;
- "Event Organization" includes all tasks from launching the invitation to post-communication to guests after the event;

  • Build a network of reliable and competent suppliers (catering / locations/ technical / decoration...);
  • In collaboration with the client (internal / external), you take into account a specific target, a budget to be respected and a precise timing while ensuring the quality of the event;
  • You are responsible for monitoring the statistics of your events (success factors / failures / recommendations);
  • You are on site on all the events you manage live or digital (lunch or evening schedule)
  • Depending on the actual sanitary situation, we organize our events digitally (studio) or live (on site).
  • You report to the Head of events at Degroof Petercam.

Your Profile:

What type of skills do we have in mind if we think of our ideal Event Coordinator?

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree;
  • You are flexible and have excellent organization skills;
  • You are completely at ease with digital tools.

This are the tools we use internally:
internal CRM, Actito, Adobe, , Hello Customer, Webex, Monday.

  • You are proactive and do not hesitate to share your knowledge to improve the processes put in place within the team;
  • Perfect knowledge and understanding of Dutch and French both spoken and written
  • You are resilient and know how to act in unexpected situations;
  • As a born team player, you jump in where necessary and support the development and improvement of our event organization;
  • You're not afraid of doing logistic/administrative work
