The accountabilities of this position lay in:

Lead and oversee the development of the new product and portfolio strategy and plans within the product groups with main focus on the frozen Vegetables product range (including snacking, grilled and fried, convenience mixes and rehydrated).
Collaborate in alignment with the overall strategy and market trends and the operating model of operational excellence '+'.
Monitoring and manage the innovation funnel with stage gate reviews, lead the innovation committee to get aligned business go no go decisions.
Ensure aligned way of working and priority setting within the NPD team by cascading down the group strategy into the regions and take responsibility for strategic planning of the ongoing project.
Cross functional stakeholder management (Manufacturing, Agro, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing).
Responsible for key processes like new product development, product transfers, screening, and sampling.
Steer annual SKU rationalization process and Increase project execution power.

Profiel

You have a master's degree in Business Economics or similar.
You have a solid knowledge of sales & marketing principles, NPD, process optimalisation & portfolio management.
Thanks to your curiosity, you are on top of all new trends and market information in the food industry, you see opportunities and translate them to R&D.
Persuasiveness is one of your strengths: you know how to communicate clearly and confidently.
As a people manager you know how to engage your team & keep all stakeholders concerned.
You can express yourself fluently in both Dutch and English, any additional language is a plus.
You have 35 years of experience in NPD, portfolio strategy, preferably in the food industry or FMCG. We are open to other sector experience, but we need a food lover.
