Our Regional Distribution team is recruiting a Sales Support & Marketing Officer for the Benelux countries of the Mediterranean and Africa region (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and South Africa).

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a role that covers most aspects of Distribution.


The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to, and working in close collaboration with our Regional Marketing & Sales Support Manager who is responsible for all Marketing & Sales Support activities in the region, you will also partner with the Distribution Managers for Belgium and the Netherlands on the following topics:

  • Sales analysis & sales planning
  • Business analysis
  • Marketing & customer experience
  • Events
  • Broker relationships
Some of your specific responsibilities for the Benelux offices could include:

  • Distribution and Sales strategy & planning
  • Local steering of SalesForce CRM and data quality
  • Steering of local sales planning
  • Business Analysis
  • Collection of data, analysis and reporting on sales figures for the Benelux countries
  • Daily support and coordination for Belgium and Netherlands Distribution managers
  • Support for prospection activities and account strategy
  • Quality control
  • Marketing
  • Market studies, customer and broker satisfaction surveys
  • Support and followup of marketing activities for the Benelux
  • Fulfilment of marketing needs as expressed by internal business partners
  • Event management
  • Planning and organisation of events throughout the year
  • Compliance followup
  • Broker relations in the region; compliance, monitoring commissions & followup of activities

What You'll Bring to the Role

  • Ideally 2 to 4 years' experience in marketing, or project management, ideally in the insurance industry
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills. Fluent Dutch / Flemish are desired and French would be a plus
  • Proactive mindset, versatility and keen team player
  • At ease in a crosscultural and international context (including remote working)
  • Comfortable handling data and with new technologies
  • Excellent relationship management and driven by customer satisfaction
  • Able to organize, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Agile mindset, with adaptability to change
