Associate Scientist Pharmacology (m/v)
Dualyx NV is a highly innovative and fast-growing biopharmaceutical company based in Ghent,

Belgium, with a focus on the development of antibody based biologics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases through activation of regulatory T cells.

To strengthen our dynamic research team in Ghent, we are seeking a highly motivated, experienced Associate Scientist in the field of pharmacology.

Roles and Responsibilities

• You will be involved in the development of bioanalytical methods, according to industry standards and guidelines.
• You will closely collaborate with colleagues and external partners to test and optimize nextgeneration therapeutic antibodies.
• You will contribute to the design of wellcontrolled experiments, prioritize your workflow and independently interpret and present your data.
• You will work closely with internal and external antibody engineers and translational science experts.
• You will maintain detailed and accurate records of experimental protocols and summarize study results in final reports if needed.
• Fulltime employment.

Profile

• Bachelor / Masters in Biomedical Sciences, Bioengineering or equivalent by expertise
• At least 25 years of industry experience
• Indepth expertise working with (one or more) pharmacology assays (PK, ADA, receptor occupancy, potency, tissue XR, species XR, biomarkers,...).
• Hands on experience with ELISA, protein labelling, multiplexing (Luminex, MSD,)
• Expertise with primary cell culture and flow cytometric analysis is an advantage.
• Knowledge of MS Office is required, additional knowledge of analysis software (Spotfire, GraphPad) is an asset.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Selfstarter, proactive, pragmatic attitude, prepared to go the extra mile
• Quality conscious attitude
• Proficient in oral and written communication (English)
