Installation & Deployment of Physical & Virtual Server components covering compute / networking & storage

  • Installs, configure, administrates of OS Systems Windows.
  • Provide technical expertise support and sustainment services for MS Active Directory.
  • Design, implement, test and document Endpoints (all client unit types and multifunction Printers) while following standards and procedures.
  • Create and update existing OS images for client.
  • Configure and test profiles for provisioning endpoints.
  • Develop, maintain and improve the full build process including environmental procedures and scripting, meeting standards of security and governance teams.
  • Create and maintain deployment packages.
  • Provide remote and onsite technical support and assistance (diagnose and resolve issues).
  • Determine and maintain software upgrades and patch installs.
  • Assists the Solution Architect in the architecture design and definition.
  • Writes documentation related to design, installation, configurations of system parts related.
  • Defining and documenting standard operating procedures.
  • Works with Management team to manage expectations, deliverables and satisfaction.

Additional needed qualification, knowledge and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Endpoints engineering in large and complex projects providing solution design services in line with organizational objectives and business requirements.
  • A strong background in Microsoft based systems and the interrelated technologies (Microsoft Windows 10).
  • Excellent knowledge of Active Directory (AD) including Multi-Forest, Multidomain, Group policy, replication and performance.
  • Client/Servers infrastructure and infrastructure services.
  • Strong understanding of VMware virtualization environments.
  • SCCM Knowledge.
  • PowerShell Scripting.
  • Understanding of Storage Area Networks.
  • Understanding Networks including TCP/IP protocols, DNS, WINS, DHCP.
  • Experience as identifying and presenting technology solutions to support the requirements of the business
