Headquartered in NY, we have offices in London and Leuven with about 200 colleagues working together out of our major hubs or remotely.


About the Role:


You'll be working closely with our expert instructors and other members of our talented Curriculum team, a team of educators, data scientists, and technologists, to improve the quality of existing content and grow our library of content.

You'll be working on courses, and projects, acting as a reviewer, thought partner, and, most importantly, an advocate for our learners.

To be effective in this role, you must have technical skills and a sincere interest in education technology.

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for data education, who wants to join a fast-growing startup that's training the next generation of data professionals and building the world's best network of data skills instructors.

This is a role for a 6-month contract.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage the course development process from postplanning through course launch
  • Create interactive exercises in various technologies
  • Monitor key metrics of courses after launch and perform maintenance accordingly
  • Make datadriven suggestions for course improvements based on student feedback and engagement data
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to solve technical issues and the Product team to improve the learning experiences of courses

What we're looking for:

This position is ideal for someone with a passion for data, AI and education, who is entrepreneurial and wants to join a fast-growing startup that's training the next generation of analysts

  • 1+ years of experience in a data role.
  • Strong command of SQL. Experience with Python or R is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with data warehousing or other analytics tools is a plus but not required.
  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for online education, including experience completing courses from DataCamp and/or other providers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset you know when to push back, challenge an idea, and seek out a compromise, and do so positively and for the benefit of the team and the company.
  • Motivated and able to learn new technical topics, data tools, and programming languages fast.
  • Comfort giving and receiving constructive feedback.
