What's the role?


The Financial Planning Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Head of Regional Finance in regards to across market financial activities including key tasks backup, supporting global reporting, supporting market timetables and exercises.

Based in Antwerp, this position will also oversee the management of rolling forecast process and monthly management reporting and support the Budget and Year End process partnering with Head of Commercial Finance and Financial Planning teams.


Key Accountabilities include:

  • Develop, enhance, maintain budgeting and forecasting processes with the regions
  • Provide advice, guidance, analysis and insights to support specific business functions improve profitability, increase revenue, decrease costs
  • Produce accurate short term cash flow forecasts for the region
  • Drive continuous improvement ethos and simplification within the Territory
  • Support the Head of Finance achieve the objectives of the region
  • Oversee Sales Prices and Transfer pricing (TP) and act as the key contact person for various key teams in regards to TP prices process and calculations

Who are you?

  • A minimum of eight years finance experience with proven experience within a marketled FMCG company and/or distribution group
  • Strong Competence in the Microsoft Office especially Excel (including Functions and Pivot Tables expert); EPM and Analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of SAP financial modules (or at least similar tier 1 ERP system) will be an advantage
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Uncompromising integrity and business ethics
  • Cognisant with uptodate business models and best practice financial principles
  • Good interacting and presentation skills with the ability to express opinions, information and key points of an argument clearly
  • Advanced analytical skills allowing for the breakdown and understanding of various forms of information to aid good judgement and decisionmaking
  • The ability to plan activities and projects well in advance considering resources required, changing circumstances and deadlines to be met
  • A cando attitude; ability to be an independent contributor who remains selfmotivated and proactive
  • Knowledge of information processing system will be advantageous
