• TEICON ENGINEERING is excited to announce an opening for a highly skilled Civil Site Supervisor (M/F/d) for a project in the port of Antwerp.
• The role is set to commence as soon as possible and extend at least until the end of January 202
• Allinclusive hourly rate by negotiation

• As a Civil Supervisor, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Coordinating contractors' mobilization/demobilization activities to site including site lay down areas and site facilities.
• Supervising construction works executed by subcontractors to ensure that works are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the approved scope of works, engineering design, QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) standards, and technical specifications.
• Reviewing constructability of subcontractor works when required.
• Reviewing subcontractor construction plans and schedules.
• Providing comments on method statements, risk assessments, quality plans and other executive and technical documentation developed by subcontractors from the start of construction projects until completion.
• Analysing and advising subcontractors and managers on methods and approaches to resolve potential/detected technical or execution problems.
• Preparing technical queries or field modification notices as needed if technical issues are detected.

• Reporting any deviation detected on site.
• Ensuring timely issuance of PTW (Permit to Work) by subcontractors, and directing and supervising subcontractor's construction team to ensure adherence to the PTW conditions.
• Facilitating issuance of necessary permits by subcontractors.
• Acting as performing authority for PTW by the Contractor if needed.
• Being prepared for shift work (possibly night shift) especially during wall slip forming works if requested.
• Attending meetings with subcontractors and vendors to plan the works, coordinate construction activities, monitor manpower and equipment, etc.
• Reviewing, verifying, and reporting (daily, weekly) on work progress of subcontractors.
• Reviewing final documentation and red marked up "as built" drawings.
• Reviewing civil construction dossier for the assigned works.
• Ensuring follow up completion and clearance of all punch list items.

• Holding a degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Having significant experience in supervising construction projects, particularly in managing subcontractors.
• Possessing a deep understanding of construction plans and schedules.
• Demonstrating an ability to review and comment on method statements, risk assessments, quality plans and other executive and technical documentation.
• Having the skills to analyze and advise on methods and approaches to resolve technical or execution problems.
• Being experienced in inspection of civil works on site and reporting any deviations.
• Showing familiarity with the PTW (Permit to Work) process.
• Being ready to work in shifts, possibly including night shifts.
• Demonstrating good communication skills, with an ability to coordinate construction activities and monitor manpower and equipment.
• Having the ability to review, verify, and report on work progress of subcontractors.
• Showing experience in reviewing final documentation and "as built" drawings.
• Demonstrating the ability to follow up on completion and clearance of all punch list items.
• Possessing strong team leadership and management skills.
• Having strong problemsolving skills, with a focus on ensuring quality and safety at all times.
