Skills, knowledge, experience required:


  • A relevant Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in architecture design, computer science or a related field;
  • Minimum 10 years' relevant operations architecture and operations management experience to perform the tasks described below;
  • Good understanding of and experience with:
  • SRE/Operations principles and frameworks;
  • DevOps and DevSecOps principles;
  • Handson experience in:
  • Cloud native environments;
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
  • CI/CD;
  • Knowledge on and handson experience in architecting solutions with at least 3 from the following technologies/products:
  • Observability (Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Jaeger);
  • ITSM and IT operations management (ServiceNow);
  • Container orchestration (OpenShift);
  • Cloud services (MS Azure);
  • Document database (MongoDB);
  • Messaging system (Solace);
  • Event Streaming (Kafka);
  • Issue tracking/agile project management tool (Jira);
  • CI/CD (Jenkins);
  • IaC (Terraform, Ansible);
  • Identity and access management (IAM) (Okta);
  • Secret management (HashiCorp Vault);
  • Experience with process mapping standards such as UML and BPMN;
  • Experience in IT operations transformation initiatives in large organizations providing missioncritical services;
  • Understanding of security principles;
  • Ability to deliver consultancy services understand customer's needs and objectives, distil the right ideas, and forge them into the operations architecture;
  • Demonstrable ability to distil complex idea into simple concepts which can presented and conveyed convincingly;
  • Ability and confidence to prepare and present decision materials and share information to different stakeholders, including top Management and IT professionals;
  • Ability to quickly acquire and utilize knowledge on new methodologies and solutions;
  • Strong ethics and confidentiality.

Desirable:


  • Knowledge of and experience with ArchiMate standard;
  • Professional qualification in relevant fields.

Duties/role:


  • Participating in the definition of the solution architecture to support target operating model with a high focus on automation, IaC, and endtoend observability;
  • Defining and documenting the principles, requirements, and applicable architecture patterns;
  • Developing operations architecture roadmaps and plans;
  • Preparing and presenting architecture decision documents;
  • Providing architecture support in the implementation of the endtoend IT operations solution according to the Program objectives;
  • Acting as a supporting member of initiatives delivering IT solutions, representing principles and requirements for operations, helping find proper implementation possibilities;
  • Promoting and contributing actively and continuously to improvements of operations and SRE, e.g., monitoring, observability, incident management, deployment, or change management;
  • Contributing to all areas of solution architecture as a team member.
