Having recently acquired a subsidiary in Belgium - Oonex SA - the Group are focussed on bringing our suite of products to Europe and are now looking for a Risk Manager to join our team.


With our headquarters in London and Brussels and teams in Chester, Amsterdam and Los Angeles, the Equals Group operates a portfolio of successful and exciting business lines and brands - Equals Money, FairFX and CardOneMoney in the UK and now Oonex in Belgium - soon to become Equals Money Europe.

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Delivering vendor management across both Oonex and the enabling functions
  • Taking responsibility over several thirdparty vendor and internal delivery partner relationships in your portfolio
  • Working alongside key operational teams & internal stakeholders to ensure strong vendor governance in support of compliance with all relevant internal and external standards and policies
  • Developing and maintaining vendor register and document library
  • Conducting materiality assessments on vendors to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Designing and building reporting and KPIs for vendors to provide the organisation insight of vendor performance
  • Supporting innovation processes and exploring new opportunities in order to achieve cost reduction, value and customer outcomes
  • Enforcing contract management best practice
  • Providing analysis of vendor & internal delivery partner spend and service levels to drive insight and actionable plans.
  • Working in collaboration with Procurement and internal stakeholders in support of commercial and contractual negotiations and the identification of cost saving opportunities.

Essential Skills

  • Prior experience working in Vendor/Performance Management/Contract Management roles.
  • Fluent in English and French or Dutch
  • Demonstrable skills in Contract Management with experience in tracking and interpreting common contractual provisions, contract obligations and deliverables.
  • Knowledge in the management of outsourced contracts, billing, invoice administration.
  • Experience of working in a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Experience of working with multifunctional teams effectively with the ability to operate through cross business and/or cross border teams.
  • A history of building longterm, trustbased relationships with stakeholders and implementing governance processes to support vendor relationships.
  • An ability to influence stakeholders on financial and operational decisions to maximise value.
Ability to communicate and present best practice, data, insights and other findings effectively to stakeholders and our wider organisation.


Where possible we offer the opportunity to work flexibly and the opportunity to balance some remote working with time in the office collaborating, taking part in events and developing the social connections that make working with us rewarding.

For this role a minimum of 3 days in the office will be required with remote wording offered for the remaining working days.
