Role mission:


You own the contract manufacturing supply planning and make sure the suppliers are aware what we need by when and which are our priorities.

While doing so you make sure to maintain a good stock level and keep involved stakeholders updated where needed.

What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for placing and managing orders with subcontractors, closely linked to the factory (repack, restack, sleeving and pack) and 3PM's.
  • In case of changed requirements you adapt the production schedule and work with suppliers and internal team on priorities (promotions or unforeseen demand changes);
  • Monitoring and planning of components and finished inventory to facilitate above described activities with subcontractors. Improve component ordering with the subcontractor in case there is a mismatch with our need. Organize stock counts on a regular basis and report on differences;
  • Maintain regular contact and good relationship with subcontracting suppliers to discuss overall performance and outline continuous improvement on service and relationship;
  • Define and monitor safety stock needs (at the suppliers) and keep MOQ master data updated;
  • Address deviations between ordered and received/invoiced quantities towards subcontractors and take corrective action if required. Create a quality notification (QN) in case suppliers deviate from made agreements or ways of working;
  • Own planning project management for new product launches. Work with cross functional partners on projects such as new product launches, discontinuations, and transitions to evaluate assumptions and to ensure timely implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement on ways of working with suppliers and SLA's.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI's):

  • On time in Full delivery subcontractor performance
  • Stock management KPI's: contract manufacturing inventory and update obsolete stock overview

Experience you'll bring:

  • Bachelors degree in economics, supply chain management or a related business field
  • 5 years of applicable supply planning and/or contract manufacturing experience
  • Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate with business stakeholders
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
  • Strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and knowledge of logístical & production process, preferable SAP.
  • Fluent both written and spoken in Dutch & English
  • Hands on mentality
  • Team oriented
