About the Job

Concretely, you will be part of the Data Powerhouse, a brand new created business function, partnering closely with IT & Data team and many of our business stakeholders.

In this role, you will be directly reporting into the Data Powerhouse Lead. The team consist of 5 people in total, including 2 data owners & 1 data governance lead in addition.

As our Data Scientist and Analyst for Danone Belux, you work closely with the data product owner, business and IT to bring data analytics solutions to life and promote a data driven culture within the company.

You identify use cases and implement them in close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders following agile principles.

You will create analyses, build reports and dashboards to derive valuable insights by using modern business intelligence tools and processes.

Your main responsibilities are:_
Designing & maintaining data models, ensuring data quality & accuracy (e.g. market share reporting, forecasting models,...)
Comprehending, extracting, automating processes and model information from complex data sources to deliver business insights and recommendations
Creating appropriate documentation to drive sustainability
Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts
Defining use cases in collaboration with business partner to drive performance understanding and transparency through set KPI's and data visualization
Setting up and updates of monthly recurring reports to track performance within our categories.
Driving data transformation within Belux acting as ambassador for data and analytics, bringing added value through data analysis and recommendation

About you

About you
You have obtained a or Master's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics. Preferably you can bring a first relevant experience, for example after completing an internship.

Next to English, you can fluently communicate in either French or Dutch.

In order to be successful in this role, you_
Are familiar with data language (R, Python, SQL, M & Dax) and data visualization tool (Power BI)
Are a numbers wizard, with excellent mathematical & statistical skills.

If you are familiar with Databricks and Snowflake in addition, that would be absolutely amazing
