Skills, knowledge, experience required:

Knowledge of security incident management and strong ability to put the theory into practice;
Knowledge of Splunk administration, dashboards, and Enterprise Security;
Experience with:
ITSM tooling;
Ticketing system;
ITIL;
Experience working in a challenging IT environment;
Ability to cope with stress and changing situations;
Strong basic IT knowledge which supports you in your daily activities;
Very strong communication skills;
Proactivity and ownership.

Duties/role:

Monitoring security dashboards, analysing events and alerts, escalating when necessary, and reporting to all stakeholders;
Acting as a deputy

Splunk Administrator:
making sure all Splunk components are operational at all times and improving dashboards when necessary;

Acting as a point of contact within the organization for all matters related to security incidents and maintaining contact with peers outside the team;
Looking for possible issues and proposing solutions proactively;
Consulting, improving, and writing Standard Operational Procedures (SOPs).
