Your team and your responsibilities:
Team/division description
As part of TME R&D organization, the Powertrain Division is responsible for local development of powertrains for vehicles built in one of the TME production plants and for planning and research of new European technologies.
Advanced Powertrain & Target Setting" is a
research group within Powertrain covering xEV battery, E-motor, Power electronics, Charging strategy and other alternative Powertrains
Your project
- Research of powertrain technologies and strategy trends in Europe to reflect to Toyota's future strategy using market research, industry or technology conferences, benchmark projects, etc.
- Modelling of zero emissions powertrain in Amesim (Simcenter) and/or Simulink and/or Ansys TwinBuilder to analyse, estimate and compare performance (energy efficiency, acceleration performance, drivability,) by research and implementation of advanced optimal and predictive controls.
Your Profile:
- You are fluent in English (TME's business language)
- Master or PhD student in the field of engineering, robotics etc.
- Some experience with programming (python etc) and machine learning is a plus
- Open minded and keen to work proactively in a multicultural fastchanging business environment
- Highly motivated for mobility, cars and electrification of mobility
- Experience with simulation tools (Matlab, Simulink, Amesim, Simplorer, etc) is an advantage
