***Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer of GEMS, the Expertise Center IS (EC IS) looking for IS Manager:
Your responsibilities:


  • Defining the EC-IS location strategy of the Brussels teams in coordination with the CODIR of the EC IS of GEMS
  • Supporting & Coaching Team Lead in your location, specially on the Software Build and on deployment of Agility mindset and agility at scale
  • Identifying the improvements of organization to perform by location, e.g skills or knowledge missing to cover the needs of the EC-IS local team, or the business hosted in the region
  • Enabling the hiring of talented people by your knowledge of the local market in strong link with the HR Team
  • Enabling effective purchasing by your knowledge of the local market in strong link with the HR Team
  • As Senior Leader in Brussels, you can articulate the IS Strategy on the CWE for the Power Value Chain from Asset representation to Short Term as a Service

Your profile:


  • Experienced Leader with strong Software Delivery expertise, ability to build strong team, to coach teams
  • Experienced Leader, you have a good knowledge of the GEMS teams, you have a deep interest of developing the team in your country
  • You have a very good knowledge of the local business and a strong appetite to develop it even more
  • You have a good knowledge of the local market for Talent Acquisition (contractors or permanents)
  • Influencers, you are able to cobuild with the Global/Local EC IS managers and team the local IS strategy to reach the maximum effectiveness for the Global and Local Teams
