MISSION
Within Univercells, as

PMO Director, you will be reporting to the Univercells COO and directing the Project Management Office team to ensure projects meet organizational goals and requirements. On top of supporting Univercells, the team provides governance and support to all Affiliates worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Translate opportunities to a structured project charter and seek approval for the project kickoff.
Work with other affiliate / department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects
For opportunities impacting one Affiliate, perform the appropriate handover.
For interfacility opportunities and Univercells initiatives, act as project leader. The Engineering Lead, the Quality Lead and Operational Readiness lead will functionally report to you. You will be the main point of contact for the project Sponsor.
Perform project management functions for assigned projects, by:
Providing appropriate reporting to all relevant stakeholders
Ensuring financial followup of our commitments
Coordinating and supervising project execution related activities
Ensuring project requirements are met in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines
Identifying project risks and issues, and developing mitigation plans.
Leading and developing project team members
Establish and maintain effective communication channels to allow accurate information flow throughout the project progression. Ensure meeting minutes, agendas and other tools are utilized to the benefit of the project success.
Follow and improve Project Management methodologies, techniques and best practices.
Lead the Project Management Office team and develop the project management mindset throughout the Univercells group.
Own the Univercells group portfolio of projects.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Master's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in life sciences,
Minimum 5 years related experience in a Project Management Role, with deep knowledge and experience of multidisciplinary and matrix/crossfunctional team management.
Formal project management training or certification (PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent) is preferred
Prior experience within a GMP environment, Gene Therapy and/or Vaccines manufacturing is a plus.
High level of initiative combined with strong demonstrated interpersonal skills.
Personal/interpersonal skills:
Ability to motivate, influence and negotiate. Decision making, problemsolving as well as Political and Cultural Awareness are additional essential assets to succeed in this role.
Adaptability: Able to adapt to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal c
