Context:

The fulltime position is financed by UZ Leuven strategic funding.


What your job entails:


  • You will join an international team of bioinformaticians, laboratory technicians and support staff for the development of analysis tools for NGS data, in order to realize the transition to clinical use through research. We work on whole genome sequencing, targeted panels, RNAseq, NIPT, CHIPseq, de novo assembly, single cell sequencing and more

What we ask:


  • You have a relevant master, PhD or comparable work experience in the fields of Bioinformatics, Biostatistics or Biophysics.
  • You are familiar with bioinformatics software, programming languages and statistics.
  • Experience with cloud computing is a plus.
  • You have a problemsolving attitude and enjoy intellectual challenges that stimulate your analytical mind.
  • You are a team player.
