Product Manager
. Naast journalistiek breidt Mediafin zijn activiteiten verder uit binnen
Communities, Events & Learning (CEL)
met premium memberships, flagship events en executive educationprogramma's voor ondernemers en beslissingsnemers. Om deze businesslijn te versterken, werven wij een Product Manager aan binnen CEL.
De initiële focus ligt op
clubWAW
en
clubYaka
, met de mogelijkheid om bijkomende events, formats of initiatieven binnen het CEL-portfolio op te nemen. De Product Manager is verantwoordelijk voor de
strategische ontwikkeling, positionering en commerciële performantie
van community- en eventproducten binnen het CEL-portfolio. Hoewel clubWAW en clubYaka de primaire focus vormen, kan de scope uitbreiden naar andere initiatieven (zoals flagship events, thematische conferenties, learning formats of nieuwe productlanceringen).
Deze rol combineert product ownership, contentcuratie, audience development en commerciële verantwoordelijkheid. Je rapporteert aan de Head of CEL en werkt nauw samen met de redactieteams, marketing, partnerships en operations.
Jouw uitdaging
- Bepalen en aanscherpen van de productstrategie en value proposition van clubWAW en clubYaka, inclusief roadmapbeheer en alignment met De Tijd en L'Echo
- Cureren van content en beleving (thema's, sprekers, formats) en bewaken van kwaliteit, positionering en doelgroepconsistentie
- Realiseren van groei-, retentie-, deelname- en omzetdoelstellingen; actief opvolgen van funnel- en conversiemetrics en bijsturen waar nodig
- Meebouwen aan de uitbreiding van het CEL-portfolio (nieuwe formats, productlanceringen, processtructuur) en opnemen van bijkomende product ownership
- Coördineren met redactie, marketing, partnerships en operations en vertalen van strategie naar concrete, uitvoerbare plannen

- Succesvolle lancering of optimalisatie van nieuwe initiatieven
Jouw profiel
- 4–10 jaar ervaring in productmanagement, media, strategie, community building of een aanverwant domein
- Sterke productmindset (positionering, roadmap-denken, iteratie)
- Vermogen om kwalitatief redactioneel inzicht te combineren met kwantitatieve performanceanalyse
- Commercieel inzicht en verantwoordelijkheidszin
- Gestructureerd en resultaatgericht in uitvoering
- Sterke stakeholdermanagementvaardigheden
- Ondernemend en flexibel binnen een groeiende businesslijn
- Vloeiend in het Nederlands en/of Frans, met een professionele beheersing van het Engels
- Comfortabel in een tweetalige (NL/FR) werkomgeving
- Ervaring met het beheren van een portfolio of meerdere initiatieven is een pluspunt
- Kennis van abonnements-, membership- of eventgedreven modellen is een troef
