  • We are currently looking for a _
    _Facility Supervisor__ to join our SGS Lab Simon laboratories in Wavre and Zellik and our Gembloux site._
  • Launches and supervises work carried out by external contractors and subcontractors
  • Solicits quotes/offers from contractors (HVAC, electrical, joinery, etc.)
  • Manages schedules based on an analysis of the situation
  • Manages and plans routine inhouse maintenance operations
  • Carries out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, checking hood draught control, light plumbing, electricity, etc.)
  • Supervises preventive maintenance on certain equipment (boiler room, HVAC, refrigeration units, etc.)
  • Calls on the Facility Operator and coordinates (equipment required, comments on interventions, etc.)

Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree (ideally in electricity) or equivalent through experience
  • Several years' previous professional experience in the field
  • Knowledge of building techniques
  • Good knowledge of environmental legislation (environmental permit)
  • Knowledge of French + Dutch and/or English (read spoken written)
  • Knowledge of standard computer software
