The UX Analyst defines and documents the implementation of our software solutions for Higher Education (Informat BaMaFlex and PersAdmin), its interaction with other systems and the functional processes that they support. PersAdmin is our tool for HR administration. BaMaFlex is a trusted administrative partner, used by both administrative staff members and students, that is compliant to Flanders' regulation. However, the software is becoming highly complex and is not well documented.
We like to answer our user's needs, as they mention improvements that would make their workflow more efficient.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the developers, UX Designers and product owners to validate documented processes and information architecture.
  • Create functional specifications, flowcharts and information architecture for the existing platform and all of its features.
  • Be or have the ambition to become an authority in this area of specialization.
  • Analyze the existing systems, assess their performance from a user point of view and highlight areas of UX improvements.
  • Utilize analysis tools such as data flow diagrams, process models and data models.
  • Perform UX gap analysis and recommend solutions to the product owner.
  • Prepare more userfriendly user manuals, enabling a smooth onboarding of new users.

Your skills and talents:


  • At least 3 to 4 years working experience in the area of UX analysis.
  • Analytical and investigation skills.
  • Ability to understand the bigger picture.
  • Working knowledge of data and process modeling.
  • Good listening, comprehension & communication skills.
  • Ability to run customer/user interviews to document usage, behavior and expectations.
  • Good command over spoken and written communication in Dutch and English, for both internal and external purposes.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to selforganize your agenda.
  • Good knowledge of IT and UX standards and principles for complex IT systems.
