To reinforce its
HSSE team, Parkwind is looking for an
HSSE Officer.

As HSSE Officer you will be part of a small team, reporting directly to the HSSE Manager.

Key responsibilities:

Assisting Parkwind to actively identify and manage HSSE risks. This could be in support of business development opportunities, projects in (pre)development or construction, operational windfarms, as well as corporate processes and systems.
Facilitate regular HSSE meetings, internally and externally (with contractors).
Review Contractor HSSE Management Plans and oversee the implementation thereof.
Review Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), Emergency Response Plans (ERP), etc.
Participate in Hazard & Operability studies (HAZOP).
Perform HSSE audits (e.g. vessel vettings).
Followup on Unwanted Events (incidents, accidents, etc.).
Develop HSSE processes, procedures and instructions, and support and guard the implementation thereof.
Stay up to date on HSSE legislation. Maintain registers with the HSSE laws and regulations we should comply with.
Deliver HSSE reports and presentations.
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

Who are we looking for?

A Master's degree in a technical discipline.
Relevant (international) experience in a similar HSSE role, preferably in construction, energy or offshore.
Inquisitive, analytical, with a systematic approach, who likes to work crossdepartmental.
High degree of independence, but also capable of working as part of a team.
Able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Dutch and/or other languages are an asset.
Willing to work from Leuven (HQ), and occasionally from Oostende.
Willing to occasionally work offshore (Full GWO training required).
Willing to travel occasionally for short periods.
