Engineering manager Regulation and Safety Compliance
Description
Your tasks:
- This position is responsible for managing the Regulation and Safety Compliance Engineering team in the EU with the overarching goal of achieving best in class Product Safety performance for Accelera's Electrolyzer product line.
- Responsible to grow the product, solution and safety team further.
- Day to day managerial responsible for engineer team that works across multiple product platforms once all people are in place.
- Before the whole team has been hired you will be also expected to pick up on the daytoday engineering tasks.
- Ensure regional Regulation and Safety Compliance Engineering team meets all the product line needs, assign the tasks but also support in: Codes, Standards, and Regulations Requirements, Risk Analysis and Mitigation, Tracking of Risk Mitigation Recommendation, Generation on internal and external documents, Verification that risk mitigations are incorporated in the design, Creation of Validation Test Plans (FAT, SAT) (Inclusive of Process, Functional, Machine, Electrical, Ergonomic Safety).
- Lead / Support development of team reporting measures.
- Working with the Product and Solution Safety process SME.
- This position requires a strong understanding of applied engineer safeguard across multiple disciplines: Process Safety, Functional Safety for the Process Engineering Sector, Machine Safety, Electrical Safety, Working at Heights, ATEX prevention / protection.
Qualifications
Your profile:
- Prior Lead Engineer or engineering manager or equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required with a demonstrated track record of working with process functional safety and compliance standards.
- Master and / or bachelor degree in engineering (electro mechanical, mechanical, electrical, chemical).
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Experience in leading a team up to 10 people, knowledge in labor law in EU would be a big plus.
- Very good communication skills.
- Good professional knowledge of English.
