Overview:


The Senior Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the transportation and customs formalities of Food and Beverages portfolio from PepsiCo.

The position will ensure that all shipments are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

The Senior Logistics Coordinator will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and customers together with the transport team members and transport stakeholders.


Responsibilities:


  • Plan and coordinate the transportation of Food and Beverages portfolio from PepsiCo, ensuring on time delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Manage customs formalities with customs agencies if applicable
  • Monitor the delivery of shipments and resolve any issues or problems that arise
  • Manage Raw Material logistic and inventory flows in the Benelux
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes and hit the agreed service levels
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, negotiating contracts and rates to ensure costeffective transportation solutions with support of the central procurement team
  • Develop and implement logistics processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Conduct regular audits of logistics operations to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards
  • Prepare and analyze reports on logistics performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage transport and customs invoices, build and follow up transport budget
  • Mentor and train transport staff to ensure their development and growth within the company.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Dutch & English (French is considered a plus)
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office modules (especially Excel)
  • Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, customs clearance processes, and import/export laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and carriers.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with logistics management software.
