In this position you are responsible for an excellent operational functioning of the warehouse. You will focus on supervising the daily operations in regards to goods flows, infrastructure, customer expectations and much more.

Strenghtening our operations by the optimization of processes and taking part in the leading of continuous improvement projects are also at the core of this position.


What's the job about:

  • Overall coordination and supervision of the warehouse operations assigned to you. You will be analyzing productivity, quality, storage capacity and more in order to guarantee the highest possible quality and efficiency.
  • Managing of diverse projects within the warehouse environment. You will take the lead in defining, planning, preparing, implementing and followup of these projects. You will also be participating in project groups in the areas of automation, quality and process improvement.
  • Stimulating the development of the supervisors and guiding them in their tasks. This contains transparent communication, the organization of team meetings, evaluation, training and support. In consultation with supervisors and HR, you will also be determining the inflow, throughput and outflow of employees.
  • Monitoring the procedures, processes and safety rules in and around the warehouse: safety meetings, safety walks, audits, followup of data quality
  • Managing warehouse equipment (including purchasing and repair)

  • Demonstrated leadership experience of at least 3 years in a similar role
  • Knowledge of warehouse processes and logistics equipment
  • Knowledge of safety in and around the warehouse
  • Understanding of transport and customs documents
  • Strong in planning, organizing and critical thinking
