    The International Taste Institute is the Brussels-based world leader in the evaluation and certification of the taste of consumer food and drink products.

    Thanks to the evaluation, feedback, and certification by its jury of more than 200 prestigious Chefs & Sommeliers, thousands of food & drink producers from around the world improve the quality of their products and increase their sales.

    With a truly international team of 14 different nationalities, we are growing fast. Weare looking for a new German speaking colleague with a sales profile to develop our presence in the Germany, Austria and Switzerland markets.

    You are Brussels-based and you will

    • contact producers of all sizes to explain the concept of evaluation and certification and the benefits they could derive from it
    • develop the customer base in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
    • use your creativity to develop new ideas to fuel the growth pipeline
    • help new customers to follow the online registration process and ensure that their samples are received
    • advise customers with awarded products on the best uses of the award
    • attend international and national food and beverages fairs to generate new leads and to promote the Taste Institute
    • help prepare the large-scale testing events with a jury of more than 90 Chefs or Sommeliers from around the world
    • work closely with Management to generate stats, data, and testimonials to enhance the value proposition
    • also contribute to other areas of the business: depending on your personal skills and interests, you might be involved in other aspects of the Taste Institute's daily life

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • You are based in Brussels, Belgium, or ready to move there
    • You have between 1 and 3 years of sales experience
    • You are a native German speaker, perfectly fluent in English
    • You are a team player, you have an opinion, but you don't let ego get in the way; our culture of collaboration is important to us, and we work to preserve it
    • You are determined to help customers grow their business and to create value for them
    • You are a good communicator - we value good storytelling
    • You work autonomously to achieve your goals, you are smart and naturally curious
    • You are familiar with the in-bound and social selling sales techniques
